Our company, Niigata TLO INC., was incorporated by Niigata University and certified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan, in November 2001 to handle technology transfer of IP, know-how, materials made by Universities, Junior Colleges, Technical College in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Niigata TLO receives the largest investment from Niigata University. Under the present circumstances, IPs are prepared and filed in the University. Niigata TLO is engaged to handle tech-transfer of University made IP, know-how, materials, and other results of joint research with industry.
Niigata TLO is awarded the Prize of Minister Award of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) 2007 in honor of tech-transfer of the novel hydrogen sensor invented by Dr. Shuji Harada of Niigata University and also selected as one of “The top one hundred technologies in the world” in AUTM conference of 2007. Another success in tech-transfer is in bioscience area is material transfer of a plasmacytoid cell line, PMDC05, for research and development of cancer immunotherapy. We have supplied PMDC05 to over sixty public institutions, pharms, private institutions all over the world.
